Chen Chuxin Department of Visual Arts - Media Art - New Media Production FMA LabThe work Myself utilizes software and tools such as TouchDesigner and Kinect to create an immersive, interactive space, where the audience can explore traces of the “ id ” within the ever-changing imagery, gradually revealing their inner conflicts and points of balance. Ultimately, the piece guides the audience to break down the barriers between the external environment and their inner world, achieving spiritual self-awareness and constructing the most authentic “self.”
Chen Chuxin, 27 years old, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. His primary creative focus is the fusion of digital imagery and the inner world. Previously, his interactive digital works, such as Be Yourself and Find Yourself, have been exhibited in Seoul, South Korea, and Qingdao, China.
