Unnatural - of humus and artifact
Sandrine Deumier | FranceInteractive fiction using Unity | 00:05:45 | 2023
Set in a natural environment untouched by human infrastructure, Unnatural – of Humus and Artifact begins with an encounter between the viewer and an enigmatic figure from a hyper-technological human society living on Earth in an unfamiliar way. Conceived as an interactive point-and-click narrative, the work envisions a humanity whose technical and spiritual evolution has created a world of virtual artifacts coexisting with untouched nature. It imagines a technologically augmented species rooted in shared knowledge, spirituality, and deep connection to the living world.
