Congratulations on the opening of the 2025 AIIF Advanced Imaging International Festival.

The continuous growth of AIIF over the past 26 years has been made possible through the passion and dedication of participating researchers, artists, and students. The BK21 FOUR Educational Research Institute for AI-Contents Future Industry at Chung-Ang University has strived to expand the horizons of creative research through the convergence of artificial intelligence and the arts, while strengthening the global presence of this international festival.

This year’s AIIF, themed “AI^ver.6.0: Neuromancer’s Dream,” explores the new boundaries of perception and cognition shaped by the intersections of AI, art, and society. Comprising exhibitions, conferences, and film screenings, the festival is presented on an online platform, providing a global venue for academic and artistic exchange.

2025 AIIF is expected to serve as a meaningful platform for exploring new possibilities in creation and research beyond the boundaries of technology and art, and for reflecting on the future directions of artistic practice in the age of artificial intelligence.

This festival serves as a creative arena where artificial intelligence and the arts come together, On behalf of the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film at Chung-Ang University, heartfelt congratulations are extended to all participants. AIIF has consistently embodied the creative vision of our Graduate School, which pursues the integration of art, technology, and academic research.

This year’s theme, “AI^ver.6.0: Neuromancer’s Dream,” invites us to reflect on the meaning of art and the future of creation within the expanding realms of human perception and cognition shaped by artificial intelligence.
