Coast draws on the concepts of ecological anxiety and ecological grief, emphasizing the growing importance of ecological awareness in our relationship with space. It suggests that what we see is more than a landscape—it embodies layered meanings and affects. Exploring how the notion of space shifts through an ecological lens, the work proposes that this perspective requires renewal through contemporary methods. The video, designed and edited by the artist using AI-generated imagery, incorporates intentional technical errors to reflect the fractures and disconnections in our relationship with space, turning these imperfections into a metaphor for ecological and perceptual imbalance.
