An abandoned cat suddenly wanders into the home of Dongcheol, a man who gets through each day by clinging to perfect routines and efficiency. A single “meow” cracks his frozen time, and the small acts of tidying, feeding, and waiting awaken his shuttered senses. The little commotions with Dani turn a house of control into a place of care. By feeding, cleaning, and waiting, Dongcheol recovers the warmth of feelings and relationships he had forgotten.

Dongkyu Lee majored in Visual Communication Design at Dongguk University and completed the Directing program at the Hankyoreh Film Academy. He then spent four years with Kyobo Book Centre’s Story Business Team, where he oversaw contests and video production. Currently, he runs a one-person studio, DanFilm, taking full responsibility for interview, brand, making-of, and educational content—from development and planning through filming and post-production. Lee is now pursuing a degree in Directing at the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film, Chung-Ang University, focusing his research on family narratives and the drama genre.
