“The Tape” is a trailer that unfolds the moment when the forgotten memories and fears of a village resurface through an old VHS tape recovered from the sea. The tape reveals peaceful scenery and people’s lives, but soon shifts to ominous imagery: the dark sea, a mysterious hand, a shaman’s ritual, a wet ghost in an alley, and a damp room consumed by moisture. It culminates with the protagonist being seized by multiple arms and sinking into the water, encapsulating the terror of oblivion and return.

Su-A Jeong is interested in working using various programs and media. It explores new methods every time regardless of a specific format, and experiments withthe narrative possibilities created by images and videos. In this project, she attempted to visualize the themes of horror, memory, and oblivion,
employing generative AI as a primary tool in the video production process.
