Opening Remarks
for the 23rd Advanced Imaging International Festival

I'm Jin-wan Park, head of the Artificial Intelligence-Content Future Industry Education Research Center at Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video.
First of all, I would like to thank all the organizers.
We have been hosting the festival for a long time, delivering the qualitative excellence of new art research and creations incorporating artificial intelligence technology and enhancing our status as an international high-tech imaging festival. As a result of this, we will give many people a wonderful opportunity to experience a variety of advanced video content incorporating artificial intelligence technology through internationalization.
The theme of this video festival, an international event held by the Advanced School of Motion Picture, is 'AI^2 ver 4.0 (Advanced Imaging & Artificial Intelligence). Various programs are prepared both online and offline at this video festival, which will be held as part of the convergence development of artificial intelligence-based imaging arts and engineering technology.

To enhance the understanding of the convergence of art and technology, we have organized exhibitions and conferences consisting of 100 domestic and foreign students and experts in the fields of media art, animation, film, and video science, so we ask for your attention and participation, and we hope it will be a good time for everyone.

It is a great pleasure for me indeed to be invited to the 2023 AIIF(Advanced Imaging & Artificial Intelligence International Festival) conference. I am Sun Hao, professor of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and served as the Dean of VR Research Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

I appreciate this opportunity to learn from the vast amount of technical experts assembled in this room. Currently, a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation led by artificial intelligence is in the ascendant. Driven by new theories and technologies such as mobile internet, big data, supercomputing, sensor networks, brain science, and artificial intelligence presents new features such as deep learning, cross-border integration, human-machine collaboration, group intelligence openness, and autonomous control. It is imposing significant impact on economic development, social progress, global governance, and other aspects. China imposes great importance on innovative development and regards the new generation of artificial intelligence as the driving force for promoting technological development, industrial optimization，and overall productivity leap, striving to achieve high-quality development.

As a Chinese scholar, I would like to introduce some of the research status at home and abroad in this field, the difficulties and the developing direction of the script writing industry in which artificial intelligence technology can assign. I very much look forward to your in-depth communication. I strongly hope that you will gain valuable advice from all the international scholars.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, let us embark on this exciting journey of exploration and discovery. Let us embrace the future with optimism and excitement. Together, let us seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape a brighter tomorrow for all.
