AI^2 ver 4.0: Advanced Imaging & Artificial Intelligence

The 2023 AIIF Advanced Video International Festival, organized by Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video and the BK21 4-stage Artificial Intelligence-Content Future Industry Education Research Group, will be held on Nov. 10. Under the theme of 'AI^2 ver4.0,' this event will open online exhibitions as well as offline exhibitions.

<Program 1> There are a total of two online exhibition programs designed to showcase new works and research in more diverse ways than before. The "GSAIM Lab Exhibition" introduces various works and latest research results, including media art, sound and data visualization, games, movies, and animations, participated by 15 labs at Chung-Ang University's Advanced School of Video. The joint exhibition shows the achievements of art exchange between Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Tianjin University of Arts in China.

In addition, there are various offline event programs in this AIIF. The 'GSAIM Lab Offline Exhibition' displays various works and the latest research results from 15 labs of Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video in a new format on the 10th and 11th at the 1st and 2nd exhibition rooms of 301 Hall.

<Program 2> Under the theme of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) & Artistic Imagination (A.I.)), the AIIF conference features interesting lectures from eight world-renowned scholars, including Professor Masayuki Akamatsu, Professor Dho Yee Chung, and Valie Messini Postdoc Senior Scientist, while at the same time, graduate students from Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video will showcase their new research on the online web.

The GSAIM conference is prepared with interesting lectures by art director Eun Woo Cho and researcher Jackie Kim under the theme of ART, AI + MEET, and at the same time, graduate students from Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Film will showcase their new AICFT research in Room 904.

Organized by Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Culture and Technology, the "VP (VP) Conference" informs domestic experts of the possibility and potential of virtual production that will lead the global imaging industry in the near future.

<Program 3> Lastly, 14 domestic and international film festival entries by Chung-Ang University film majors will be screened at the Grand Theater of the Kim Young-sam Library on Nov. 14-15.
