Opening Remarks for the 23rd Advanced Imaging International Festival

Good morning. I’ m Jin-Wan Park, project director of the Artificial Intelligence-Contents Future Industry Education Research Center in the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film. First of all, I’d like to express my thanks to all organizers. We have been trying to convey the quality excellence of new art research and creations that combine artificial intelligence technology and raise our status as an international high-tech video festival. Through the internationalization of this festival and conference, it will be a rare opportunity to experience various high-tech video contents that combine artificial intelligence technology. Under the theme of "AI^2 ver 3.0 (Advanced Imaging & Artificial Intelligence)" to leap to "International Events" of the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging, it will be held as an untact event as part of the convergence and development of imaging art and engineering technology based on artificial intelligence. We have organized an exhibition and conference of 110 domestic and foreign students and experts in the fields of media art, animation, film, and imaging science to enhance understanding of the convergence of art and technology, so we ask for your interest and participation and hope it will be a good time for everyone. Opening Remarks for the 23rd Advanced Imaging International Festival

It is a great pleasure for me indeed to be invited to the 2023 AIIF(Advanced Imaging & Artificial Intelligence International Festival) conference. I am Sun Hao, professor of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and served as the Dean of VR Research Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology. I appreciate this opportunity to learn from the vast amount of technical experts assembled in this room. Currently, a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation led by artificial intelligence is in the ascendant. Driven by new theories and technologies such as mobile internet, big data, supercomputing, sensor networks, brain science, and artificial intelligence presents new features such as deep learning, cross- border integration, human-machine collaboration, group intelligence openness, and autonomous control. It is imposing significant impact on economic development, social progress, global governance, and other aspects. China imposes great importance on innovative development and regards the new generation of artificial intelligence as the driving force for promoting technological development, industrial optimization, and overall productivity leap, striving to achieve high-quality development. As a Chinese scholar, I would like to introduce some of the research status at home and abroad in this field, the difficulties and the developing direction of the script writing industry in which artificial intelligence technology can assign. I very much look forward to your in-depth communication. I strongly hope that you will gain valuable advice from all the international scholars. Now, ladies and gentlemen, let us embark on this exciting journey of exploration and discovery. Let us embrace the future with optimism and excitement. Together, let us seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape a brighter tomorrow for all. Thank you for your participation today.
