I am Sang-Gyu Park, President of Chung-Ang University. I would like to extend my heartfelt welcome and gratitude to all participants of the 2024 AIIF Advanced Imaging International Festival and International Conference.

Celebrating its 25th edition, the AIIF will be held from November 7 to 9, both online and offline. This year’s festival will showcase works from diverse fields, including media art, animation, film, and imaging science, and will feature an online conference with world-renowned scholars.

Additionally, films by Chung-Ang University film students will be screened at Kkamangdol Library in collaboration with the local community. This initiative reflects Chung-Ang University’s commitment to fostering collaboration and growth with the community, and I hope it will draw great interest from attendees.

The Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film and the BK21 FOUR Educational Research Institute for AI-Contents Future Industry at Chung-Ang University, organizers of this event, are successfully executing Korea's largest research project, the “BK21 FOUR Program for Fostering Outstanding Human Resources.” I would like to express my gratitude for the dedication and passion of these two organizing bodies, which have created new values through citizen participation and exhibitions that encourage cooperative growth with the local community.

Chung-Ang University is committed to leading future media trends through the integration of artificial intelligence, engineering technology, and the arts. We pledge our full support to further AIIF’s growth as a globally recognized festival, and we will spare no effort in creating innovative content that drives future industries. I hope that this AIIF will offer participants deep inspiration through the innovative challenges and creative experiments of combining artificial intelligence with art.
